It has been a tradition on Mercer Island for more than 20 years to welcome our football team to the stadium with the iconic song, "Welcome to the Jungle". As we usher in a new era of Islander football, we want to celebrate our HS 2017 winning season with a jungle themed football celebration and auction.
We are excited to welcome you to the 2018 Auction supporting Youth and High School football on Mercer Island. It's going to be jungle themed party to remember, so don't be left on the sidelines!
As a football program and community, the safety of our players is our #1 priority. Football helmets are arguably the most important piece of safety equipment a player wears on the field. The Mercer Island Football Booster Club along with our Head Coach Ed Slezinger, recognize the importance of preventing head injuries. That is why the MI Booster Club is dedicating all our efforts and fundraising this year to provide the best helmets & training for all our football players.
Our #1 goal is to provide funding and resources to the Mercer Island Youth and High School Football program so they can continue to develop a first class program where safety, teamwork, and sportsmanship are at the forefront.
Join us on Saturday, September 15th, 2018 from 6-10pm at the MI Community Center. Wear your best maroon and/or white attire and join us for a fun & informative evening. We have special surprise speakers, delicious food, a signature jungle themed cocktail and a live auction with once-in-a-lifetime experiences curated by a former Seattle Seahawk and MI Superstar.
